DEF01 Error - Cannot register my account

Dear Virgin Media Community,

I have just joined Virgin Media and I have been trying to register my account for two days, however it keeps showing me an error message (DEF01).

Is there any way I can fix this? I have tried changing browsers and WiFi, but no luck yet.

Thank you for your quick response.

Upon clicking on your link, I do the following:
- Create new account
- Fill in my email

and the outcome is shown below on the screenshot:

Sorry to jump on this thread but I've also been having the same problem for the past three days. I'm a new customer and have just received and set up my package today.

When trying previously, I got further where I was able to create a password, however every password I tried said "you can't use that password". I used every possible strong password imaginable and it always met the criteria.

 

Now I have the same error as noted above.
