Complaints handling

Hi does anyone know how much I would be charged if I cancel my contract before the end of the term?

I'm about 6 months in to a 18 month contract.

I've had an ongoing complaint with them since November last year. I've had 4 letters from them saying they have been unable to contact me, I've no missed calls at all.

The letter today said it's 28 days and I haven't replied to their last letter and they are closing my complaint, I emailed them 24 days ago. 

On the last letter they said if not happy I can complain through CEDR website. Has anyone had any success doing this?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

So pretty much stuck with you then.

That gives me no choice but to start proceedings against Virginmedia via CEDR.

All you had to do was sort the issue out.

  • I was waiting well over an hour and gave up.
  • the complaint process has now been started with CEDR.

Thanks, they just can not admit they were in the wrong, said no record of loss of service when almost all of my village were without virgin broadband for 3 days. Said tried to contact me by phone to discuss my issue, yes on my old landline that they removed from my contract, said this three times even though I'd told them my mobile number 3 times. And their resolution was "education given" Principal now.
