Last night in my area (Area Reference 30) there was a brief 20 minute power cut on some nearby streets, which must have affected Virgin equipment because all 3 services - Phone, TV and Broadband were offline during the period. The TV and Broadband came back on when the power was restored however the landline phone is still not on.
There is no dial tone and therefore calls cannot be made out or in. Using my Virgin mobile results in a engaged tone when dialling the home phone number.
I have checked using the additional 'hidden' socket behind as the fault instructions explain, and there is still no dial tone.
Online service status checker indicates no fault with the line.
