Phone Fibre Switchover

I was due to change my telephone over to fibre today but like many others my telephone base station is downstairs (beside the BT line) whilst my hub is upstairs in my office.
Although I have a second phone in my office it is important that the base station stays in the living room so we can see ansaphone messages that may have been left when we are out.

I’m not sure what to do about this and would appreciate advice.

Thanks.

Some Panasonic models have a 'Base Unit Beep' function which causes the base unit to beep twice per minute when a new message is waiting, for an audible alert (look in your manual for details, the default setting is 'Off' so you have to choose to enable it). May be accessed through the menu via New Message Alert>>Base Unit Beep>>On (but will depend on your Panasonic model if you have the feature).

Hi @Slamdunky,

Thank you for getting back to me via private message. Please do let us know if you need any further assistance on this matter and we can go from there.

Thanks,
