No landline

We have been without a telephone for over a week and from the local social media this is affecting a large area.

I have repeatedly rung to report the fact that we have no landline. We  had four appointments made and subsequently cancelled to be told there is a problem in the area. I was given another appointment today (Wed 14th Dec) but no show!

However, your Status page says no problem in the area.

My husband is unable to use mobiles and if I have to go out, I am unable to contact him, or he cannot contact anyone if he requires anyone urgently. This is causing great stress!

Please could you advise me and my neighbours what is happening as a matter of urgency

Hi Heather,

Thank you for your post and welcome to the community.

I'm very sorry to hear about the issues you've had with your Landline service.

I have taken a look on our side and see there is a reported issue in the area.

This is an intermittent issue and so it wouldn't show on the service page.

It is a SNR issue. Here is the fault reference: F010293651.

The estimated fix date is: 20 DEC 2022 10:00.
