Landline switch off

I have recently had the landline switched off and moved to the fibre optic network.  Since the switchover my home phone registers a missed call from ‘No Number’ several times a day.  The phone does not ring so I assume it is receiving some form of signal from the Hub for a split second.  Any ideas?

Hi Stu-880,

Thanks for your post and welcome back to the community.

Many apologies for the issues faced, can I ask what Hub do you currently have?

Let us know,

Kain

You know what, I'd put good money on it being a Hub 5, wouldn't you?

But @Stu-880 you may want to read this thread which has only be running for some eight months or so, and is oddly similar to what you are experiencing!

Hub 5 indeed.

Thanks for the thread.  Yep Hub 5.

Hi Stu-880,

Thanks for your post, welcome to the Community Forums.

We are aware of an issue causing 'phantom' calls to come through to customer's landlines via the Hub 5 and we are working on a fix.

Any updates we receive will be posted here

Thank you

Beth

Thanks Beth.  At least the phone doesn’t ring, it’s just a bit frustrating as you see a missed call when you’ve been out or first thing in the morning and I don’t want to miss a genuine one.  I’ll be patient.
