Landline answerphone

Recently switched to virgin. I have not connected a landline phone despite having the number transferred (it made the package cheaper weirdly).   Now people ring our number (despite us telling them not to) and an answerphone is cutting in. How to I turn that off.

This is a call feature and would need to be removed.
