Hi Paul, thanks for your help, seems BT were wrong, still not sorted, some sort of problem between BT and Openreach now! Can't believe how poor BT broadband is, have had to buy a wifi extender and a broadband hotspot set just to be able to get on the net again! Had to have engineers out as no broadband working, they found installers hadn't made correct connections on pole and street cabinet. If only Virgin had made me the offers they did before I signed up to BT this would have been avoidable! If really good deals can be offered to try to stop customers leaving Virgin surely it should be possible to make those offers to loyal customers of many years to ensure they remain loyal! Regrettably the last price increase was one too many and now I am stuck with BT for next couple of years, they are promising high speed fibre soon but not holding my breath!
