I’ve received an email saying “you’ve used all of your talk plan allowance this month”

On our wavelength

…so I rang 150. This concerns calls to 0845 and 0870 numbers. The person I spoke to could not find any details of this on my account; in fact he told me that no such element to my plan existed, and I assured him that it did.

why is it so difficult to check how many minutes have been used and, when I speak to customer services, why do they have such difficulty in acknowledging that this plan exists?
