We have a constant crackling on our landline phone on both incoming and outgoing calls.

I've checked using a different handset but still the same.

Nothing has changed inside the house, so I think an engineers visit is required please.

I am sorry to hear about the issues you are having with the land line.

I have taken a look at things from our side and there are no known local outages.
