Cant receive calls

For the past 2 weeks I haven't been able to receive phonecalls on my home phone it rings once, crackles then hangs up

Thanks for posting and welcome to the community.

I am sorry for the phone line issue. Does this affect outgoing calls as well as incoming? 

When you pick up the phone, is there a dial tone? 

I've done some system checks and nothing stands out, no outages etc.

Outgoing calls are fine, only incoming calls are affected everything works fine on the phone
