pin and latency issues

Have been getting terrible latency for weeks. Some games are unplayable (rocket league), many look like i'm attached to an elastic band (COD). I've tried sifting through virgin support pages, changing settings on router, pc, the cat/ dog/ hamster... everything. I'm hard wired in using a top-end PC (same latency on all devices though including PS4 hard wired and 2 x Nintendo switch running wireless).

I've noticed people on here share graphs from think broadband. Here's mine:

Welcome to the forum VM can't get to you right now so you just have to wait.

In the meantime your downstream power levels are low but that unlikely to be your issue and your upstream power levels are high but thats unlikely to be your issue too but VM will get round to fixing them but you may still have high ping spikes.

Sounds spot on there. But yes ur downstream power way too low and upstream way to high. Higher than mine infact and been having these issues since december. Virgin are unable to lowwr my upstream just cant budge it dont know why and i dnt know when they will. All thats left if replace my cable from cab with rg11 and they havent replaced the hub either. I do live id say from cab to front door rough guess 80.90 yards. So im in no hope for a fix. But then again urs will be fixable. Have u removed any joints or anything from norm to way off like that is unusual

Hi, thanks for responses. At least there's some hope! I haven't changed a thing with the cables. It's literally in the same place the guy put it a couple of years back when they installed. Are the upstream/ downstream power levels something i can adjust or do i have to wait for VM?
