Ps4 wireless 1.5mbps speed from 130mbps

Hello all, I am having difficulties with my ps4 setting it up via WiFi. On my phone I get 70mbps in my room which is right next to the router but on my ps4 I get 1.5mbps and its basically unplayable. My app states the WiFi speeds are good and virgin aren't giving me a WiFi box to sort out the problem. The walls are thin and the box is high up and facing as it should be.

I need some help as if I can't sort this out I will probably cancel my contract as this is unacceptable.

If your phone is getting 70mpbs download speed, then it is not a problem with the wifi. If you download the Virgin Media Connect app this will show you what mbps download your modem is getting if you want to double check. It could be many factors that are causing the slow download speed on your PS4 such as objects obstructing the signal, too many devices on the wifi which will cause the modem to try and share the wifi out fairly to all connected devices. I would definitely suggest Ethernet connection for gaming devices.
