Packet Loss

I literally upgraded the other day because the internet was constantly causing me packet loss during my games, and I thought it would resolve the issue, it hasn't, I have tried loads of fixes but none of them work, turning it on and off doesn't fix anything, since I had it installed the other day I haven't tried a factory reset as it is brand new, so I don't see how that would do anything, so it must be down to the ISP, I cant get help over the phone, can get help through their website so here I am, quite bad if you ask me, but is there anyone who has had the same issue and managed to fix it?

Re: Packet Loss

Hi M8,

your in the same boat as a lot of us, and I don’t think it can be solved.

like you I upgraded to 500mb, and to be fair download speeds are in the 400mb.

I’ve tried everything, varying settings etc but I don’t think it can be fixed.

Apparently it’s got something to do with over utilisation, basically to many people are gaming and Netflix etc for the virgin network to handle.

I played warzone last night and it was awful, shots not hitting, jumpy lag, horrible.

Explains why some days it’s ok, not as many people on network.

virgin are being very tight lipped on the issue.

I’ve asked a question to forum, is there any stable networks to join ie. sky or BT. (See question further down).

good luck
