please help get my email to work

I get a message which says there is no password for my email account -  but there is!

My virginmedia email account -says no password provided - go to mail account settings and enter a password and nothing happens!  I can't get or send emails.  Please help!

It would not accept my password, which is correct . Thanks for replying !

It says "no password provided for virginmedia.  go to mail account settings and enter a password". which I do (Tried an alternative) but nothing happens.

Can you try accessing the My Virgin Media account for the email address concerned.

Sign into the account here: https://www.virginmedia.com/my-virgin-media using the email address concerned and the current password. Once logged in click on Update Settings then Account details. You should now see the options to change password etc.

If that isn't available try https://www.virginmedia.com/my-virgin-media/forgotten-details/password

Also when I tried your suggestion via webmail - it said "your email or password is incorrect. Please try again or go back to change your email.  This is driving me nuts!
