i have an issue which i have to say you appear to be the "subject matter expert" in resolving for others, so all help would be very gratefully received !
I have an old NTLworld.com email which i cannot access via webmail or outlook since last week. I can login into my virgin media, bit when i click email i get "sorry unavailable" and its been that way for nearly a week.
I was able to keep a already logged in machine. I could receive messages but when i tired to send email i got this error
sending mailbox email@example.com is inactive. ;id=WDJ4jgwaaMqBUWDJ4jWr4U;sid=WDJ4jgwaaMqBU;mta=smtp2.tb;d=20200506;t=081322[CET];ipsrc=172.25.160.135; )
It all started recently ~1st May i applied a filter rule firstname.lastname@example.org and accidentally applied a rule "any condition" containing "a" in email "reject with reason "SPAM filter" . This seems to have messed up the account.
I had cleared this filter before the machine re-started but it did not help.
The machine re-started logging me out and now i cannot access email
I have tried several times to reset passwords, clear browser history's cache etc. to no avail. I checked an IP address "blocked" tool online and the IP is OK. The 3 other ntlworld email accounts on the same main user account are OK
Thanks for popping back - the IT ticket has been returned as incorrectly logged. I'm going to pop you a Private Message so we can chat further. As this was from a few weeks ago, we'll need to go through security with you again,
Please look out for the purple envelope and pop me a reply when you can.
