mail

At last!!!  managed to get past "suggestions".

Other problem (long term) solved by granddaughter over from abroad who employs/controls many IT people as part of her Advertising Agency.

 

I am  not receiving any emails.   Please do not ask me to obtain permission from "them" as I do not receive mail from "them".   I have not blocked any mail using Kaspersky Internet S..... (KIS), whom I presume you are aware of.

I have stopped reading the many complaints of VM.

Please fix my emails. 

p.s. " Email me when some one replies" has been ticked!

I am still not receiving mail.  Have checked filters.

Great, well done, and your findings were........🤔?

Having checked back over your various threads I noticed that at one time you had many (many) filters set up.

If you still have those filters enabled then your first step to trouble shooting this issue should be to disable all those filters to confirm whether they (or at least one of them) are the reason your emails are not appearing in your inbox.

If emails start coming through again you can re-enable one of them and see if they still come through. If they do, re- enable the next one and see what happens. Continue re- enabling each in turn until you find the one that is causing the problem.

As you suggested disabled filters. Sunday mail received so enabled some. Now no mail which is bothersome as I am in Care Home and my & children's mail to me essential.

Will disable again and see what mailing I receive and enable that one.

Thanks for coming back with an update. It seems it is one or more of those filters that is blocking your email so now it's just a process of enabling one at a time until you identify which are causing problems.

Perhaps there is someone in the home who can send you a test email after you have enabled a filter so you can quickly check whether the mail gets through.

Thanks again. Received 2 Spam (nice not to be left out!). Plus 1 notification of forum reply from Slitherine.
Looks like a partial success. Will wait a bit longer.

Cannot leave room as still in isolation with wife in another room.

Now that you have confirmed the issue is down to an over enthusiastic filter you need to determine which one (or ones) are responsible and then look to amend it or simply delete it.
