That's as far as we VM Users can go, sorry I could not help.

You'll need to wait for one of the Forum Team (VM employees) such as Emily_G or Katie_WT to get the matter escalated and resolved. Hopefully they should pick up this thread again shortly.

Thanks for trying to reset the password for your MyVirginMedia account. Can we ask, is the MyVirginMedia log in email address the same as the email you are having issues with? 

 

Do you still have an active Virgin Media account with us?

As far as i know i still have an account you as i still have internet

we have 2 email addresses & i tried both & it still doesnt work

Are you using the correct email address to log into the MyVirginMedia @gallorgs

 

It seems we may have a couple of different issues here if you're not able to log into your MyVirginMedia either. 

 

When attempting to log into your MyVirginMedia, this is not always the same as your email account as this can be any email address you choose.

Thanks for getting back to me

As far as i know everything was ok up to about 9.30pm when i was getting pop ups (notifications) on chrome saying i need to update my password & resync

I'll keep trying to get into myvirginmedia

if ever google saves and remembers a mistyped entry, that can give you endless problems, because it will autofill with that wrong stuff

and some sites need a cleanly typed data entry, not a delete and retype over a bad autofill - the delete characters mess up the login

A test I usually use is to login to whatever using EDGE, as that has NO saved data ( I never allow it). or from a  different device and not via chrome. to be sure I am starting with blank entry fields

FYI google saves its "wrong" answers in 2 places ( if you use sign in and sync) you need to wipe its site data

memory both locally and by logging into a different google page and deleting saved site info

 so clean up google - or use incognito - AND disable any password managers that may also be auto filling - and try one more time with the maiden name / DOB stuff
