Suddenly I can't send emails from my laptop or tower PC.It just freezes and then says time out.Your help page says no current problems.What to do please?

This was happening for me with smtp.virginmedia.com - however, it now seems to be back to life and working again (for me anyway)

Thanks for replies.It seemed to resolve itself after an hour or two which seems common to others experience.I would have accepted it if the engineers had announced a problem but when they say all is well, one panics

I do get where you are coming from, however when someone calls in with an issue, unless reported in your area we are not aware of it.
