Getting the same issue. I've reset my password, phoned up and they've reset my password, still not working. This is now day 2 of my email not working.

Since monday pm for me!!

Currently buying a property and may be receiving emails about it. Who knows.

An email service needs to be reliable. There is too much at stake. It's like someone losing all of your important post.

I have been having this problem for three days now. Initially I was getting the "mailbox unavailable" message that others have mentioned. I phoned up the helpdesk (40 minute wait to be answered) and the guy tried a few things like getting me to change my passoword. Now I am getting the "Error 403" forbidden page.

It is clearly a problem at the VM end as I have tried logging in on 3 separate devices and get the same error on each. Trying to either access "https://mail.virginmedia.com/" or clicking on "email" when logged into my virginmedia gets me the page shown in the attachmentError 403.jpg

 
 

 

 

 

Very frustrating being without email for so long.

And now we're getting to the extent of the problem!!!

Maybe by tomorrow we'll have hundreds, maybe thousands. Direct debits of maybe £40 a month stopped?

How can it take VM this long to fix something like this? Is it a broken wire? A plug loose? New server needed? Or is nobody actually looking at it because it doesn't affect VM in the slightest? All the fancy advertising is a veneer. Absolute tosh underneath.

Yes, the phone support is grim. Other means of 'support' non existent. Time to hit them in the pocket...

Have also been without this all day.  


Will we actually get our email a/c back? One of the only reasons I stay with VM is because of the faff moving.  If they can’t provide an email service no point staying really...

I am also getting the "Mailbox unavailable" error

I have changed my password but the problem persists, been going on for 2 days now.

I haven't posted a screenshot as it is exactly the same as the previous ones posted in this thread.

I am thinking the same thing. It's really only the hassle of losing my e-mail address and all my archived e-mails which is reducing my incentive to looking at other (much cheaper) ISPs.
