Secondary Virgin media account email won't allow access or edit or deletion

Hi

I set an an new email address on my virgin media account. My current 2 email adresses are all @blueyonder.co.uk but it would only allow me to set up and @virginmedia.com for the third account, hcih I was happy with. However I can not access the email account, or amend it or delete from the Manage settings on the Primary My Virgin media account page every time I click on the view/change link it comes up with

I also cannot access the webmail as when I logon using the new virginmedia email and passowrd it asks me to set up the email and the link takes me to the same error page.

So now I have an account I can access/edit or delete.

I asked Customer service to sort this out for me about a month ago, clearly they did not undertsand my problem simply sending me a text message after about 4 days saying they had solved the probelm which they haven't

 

Any ideas?????

I'm sorry to hear that you are having an issue with your additional email account. 

This is something that I will be able to fix for you 

It can take a few days to be sorted out though

This problem resulting in the message "This part of the site isn't working at the moment, but it'll be up and running again soon" seems to be quite common. In my case it occurs when trying to set up a new email address.

Apart from the fact it won't let me set up the new email, there is an additional annoyance in that once I've been through the motions of: select an email address, verify its availability, enter and confirm a password; then after the error message occurs when I go back to retry, the email address I chose previously is now flagged as unavailable.

In fact, even if I check the availability but don't set up the account, if I return later and try again, the account I tried previously is then shown as unavailable.

Highly frustrating. Any thoughts?

I did and it is still not working :-(((
