Re: Authentic emails marked as spam

I am having the same bother with emails that I receive from a distribution list.

I have tried to create rules and sometimes that works but not for about 1/3rd of the emails.

When I view source - it says 'X-Spam-Reason: CMAE_SCORE=100.00'

Could someone please explain to me what this means please?

Thanks

Virgin Media use Cloudmark's services to help identify spam and they are 100% sure that email is spam.

Issue has been flagged to the forum team who are best placed to raise this further and correct any false positives; be aware it can take them a few hours / days to respond.

Re: Authentic emails marked as spam

Good morning @pbm

Thank you for taking the time to post.

I am going to drop you a PM so that I can get the email headers and some further details on the emails.

Kind regards,

Zak_M

Re: Authentic emails marked as spam

Good morning Zak_M, & pbm

I also have authentic emails being marked as spam. This is applies to all emails I receive from mythic beasts or via their server.

The email source includes:

X-CNFS-Analysis: v=2.4 cv=bLzTnNyZ c=1... etc.

followed by
X-Spam-Action: folder Spam

If I change the mailbox setting to “Flag a message as SPAM but deliver to Inbox” or “Turn off all SPAM filtering” then all kinds of rubbish goes into inbox, but the authentic emails from mythic beasts still go into spam.

I rang Virginmedia about this on 29th Jan, and was told an engineer would look into it that afternoon but it hasn't been fixed and I haven't received any feedback.

Peter
