Mailbox unavailable at present

Since the 12thFebruary I have been unable to receive emails via Outlook 2010 on my PC. Also when I use Webmail I get the message Mailbox Unavailable at Present. Using the main email account, which is fine, I have reset the password successfully on the secondary account, but still neither Outlook or Webmail work.

Have used the 150 helpdesk & specialist support to no avail. They recommended I try Gadget Recovery which I signed up for 3 days ago, but despite 4 attempts by 2 technicians I still do not have a workable email on the secondary account [REMOVED]. Help.

Hi chazjunior, thanks for the message. I am sorry to hear that it is showing mailbox unavailable, can you change the password and run a virus scan please? Chris

Thanks for all your comments, fortunately a technician at Virgin was able to restore the mailbox and it is now working correctly. I just hope I can get my £50 back for the failed Gadget Recovery attempts!

HI chazjunior, thanks for the message and we are happy to hear that this has now been resolved. Is there a £50.00 charge been applied to the bill? This should not have been charged if they are unable to fix this. Can you confirm if this is the case? ^Chris

I have raised a complaint form on Virgin, as they were very quick to apply the charge on next months bill, but not so quick to remove it. I will let you know.
