Ipad not syncing with iphone - virgin email accounts

Hi all

i had to recently change my email accounts passwords due to suspected hacking. At first I just changed the passwords on ipad and iphone, then I deleted a few accounts on the devices and put them on again, my emails are not synced across both devices. Any ideas guys? I have 1 blueyonder address and 2 virginmedia ones.

Are you using the same servers on all devices?
imap.virginmedia.com SSL yes Port 993
smtp.virginmedia.com SSL yes Port 465

Did you also change the password under the outgoing server settings?

Hi yes apart from the blueyonder which is the blueyonder imap, i changed the outgoing password too yes

Regardless of it being a blueyonder address you should be using the Virginmedia.com servers as set out by MissPasko

You should change the blueyonder email servers to virginmedia’s as these are the new settings no matter which email address.

Hello

Still have the same problem, I have changed the settings as above , but my ipad emails do not sync with iphone, photos etc others things sync instantly as they should be but its not the case with emails.

Could you please confirm you have used these settings when setting up your email account to these devices? You may want to remove it and set them back up if needed to check.

Hi, do I follow the apple mail settings? These refer to a MAC, mine is an ipad
