Getting old ntlworld reactivated.

I moved away from a Virgin service area 5 years ago and had to end my contract. Virgin have recently cabled up my area and I would be keen to sign up if I knew I could get my old email account back.

Re: Getting old ntlworld reactivated.

The chances are slim.  That said VM seem to be really bad at implementing their stated policy of closing down email addresses 90 days after leaving.

Check here http://mailtester.com/ to see what status it says for your ntlworld.com address.

If red it is gone for ever, if green there may be a remote chance for you to sign up for a new Virgin media broadband account and request a Move and Transfer of the ntlworld address to your new account.

I can't stress enough that the chance is remote.

Re: Getting old ntlworld reactivated.

Thanks very much for your quick reply. The email checker response is green so that's hopeful. Some decent offers on at the moment so may as well give it a go.
