Suddenly in the last few days I am no longer receiving Facebook email notifications on my BlueYonder account via Virgin Media. Can anybody advise howto get these back?? I have checked on Facebook and my details haven't changed....

Issue has been flagged to the forum team. In the meantime consider contacting Facebook and requesting detail of their notification's delivery to Virgin Media's SMTP server ‒ this information will allow Virgin Media to correlate the information with their logs to determine the issue.
FWIW do consider migrating your email needs to another email service provider to benefit from:

Thanks! I only use Virgin/BlueYonder as back-up email to prevent my in-box getting flooded with Facebook notifications. As for contacting Facebook, have you ever tried that? It's virtually impossible to do and even if you succeed, then the chances of actually getting a reply are minimal! Thanks for your help, maybe someone else has some more ideas?

We're sorry to see you're having issues with receiving emails from Facebook on your blueyonder e-mail currently, we'd be eager to assist with this.
Is it your primary address used for the VM account the one in query and do you have more blueyonder email accounts with us?
Also, could you please let us know if the issue is present on more than one device and do you use the browser to log in to your emails or do you use a client software such as outlook?
Can you see the filter options when you log in from this link here on a pc/laptop browser?

I use the BlueYonder address for Facebook notifications and for dealing with companies who would otherwise fill my in-box, e.g. Virgin Media!!
I only access my BlueYonder account on my home computer, not on my mobile phone as I normally have over 50 Facebook notifications a day which would be too much of a hindrance.
Outlook is the browser for my Hotmail emails.
Yes, I can click unto Email Filter Rules from that link on my pc, it just reads "There is no rule defined".
The mystery is that this problem only started a few days ago, until now everything was fine and as far as I know, nothing has been changed by myself.
