Existing email password

Hi, i have had to delete my ntlworld email account on mac mail as the folders  disappeared , albeit emails were getting through to the inbox. All i want to do is view my existing email password to set this up again on my mac and be able to view all the folders. I dont want to reset the password as its working ok on my iPhone and ipad and dont want to mess them up. 
any ideas how i can view this without resetting?

Thanks for posting and welcome back to the community.

You can't do that I'm afraid. For third party client mails, see below;

1. Login to your MyVM Account
2. Click the Account Settings tile
3. Next, select the Virgin Medial Mail Settings tile
4. The next page will display a Red Button labelled "Generate new App Password"
5. You will then be presented with an automatically generated password. This is the password that needs to be entered into your mail client.
The password will look something similar to this:
