E MAIL PROBLEM LONGISH POST

Here is the problem.............

I can get into my e mail account [REMOVED] through Chrome, no problem, however if Im on Brave I put my details in as normal, but it will not take my acct name or password, so I go to change it and when I do it does not accept it and asks to change password, which I do, and then when I go to use new password it says the same as before.  

Secondly on my phone, when I try and sign in on either google or chrome, it comes up withmy virgin media e mail address, I never use that account, I want to use my my blueyonder e mail address, Im flumaxed as to what the problem is.

Anybody help? please

You may need to re set up that account on your phone and generate a new app password.

Please follow the link here and follow the steps. Its the second section 'How to set up emails on a device' 

Please let us know how you get on.

Is this when trying to log in using our website and logging in via webmail that you're experiencing the issue?

Thanks for reply Travis.....i believe ive sorted the web mail problem, however the problem I have now is that when I use phone to check e mails it goes to my virgin e mail address, I dont use that addy at all, the one I wish to check is blueyonder.co.uk one, which I have had access to through my phone before but not now, any help would be gratefull.  Thanks

OK got that butI want to use blueyonder e mail not virgin media addy,, second section refers to virgin e mail address.

Sorry if im confusing you, Im confusing myself half the time, senior surfer here lol, All i want to do is to get my e mail from blueyonder.co.uk, as I said I dont use virgin e mail whatsoever.

For the record, Brave browser has built-in security features that can sometimes interfere with posting stuff. In the address bar you should see an orange Brave icon that means Brave Shields is activated on the page you're viewing. You can click it to disable the shields on that page which may fix any posting issues.

Apologies for any confusion, the same process would still apply for a blue yonder address. Although it is a blue yonder address it is an email you have access to through active services with us.  You would need to follow the steps for 'how to set up password on a device' 👉 https://www.virginmedia.com/help/broadband/manage-email-account
