Create new email address

Hi, I’ve been with Virgin since it was Telewest so quite a long time 

I have a @blueyonder.co.uk email address and want to create an @virginmedia email account

you used to be able to sign in and click on profile and add an email address. Nowhere can I find how to do this either on the website or on the My virginmedia app

Any help would be appreciated

@TIMMAC   Virgin Media removed the facility for VM broadband customers to create new email addresses in May 2022.  The applies both to new customers and existing customers.

They have indicated that they will continue to support existing emails attached to VM broadband accounts, but for how long has not been stated.

Oh that’s a bummer! 😢 So do new Virgin customers get an @virginmedia email address?

No, new customers do not get a Virginmedia email address.  They have to use a third party email address to access their My VM account.

Sorry to hear about your disappointment regarding creating a new email address. The community are correct - we no longer provide new email addresses for new or existing customers. Any customers who already have email addresses we will continue to support where possible whilst they have active service accounts with us - including those with historic NTLworld and Blueyonder email addresses.

Don't worry though, you can still register for MY VM 👉 Register My Virgin Media Account | Virgin Media with any active email address.
