Unfortunately competition doesn't drive businesses! If we played the game effectively we would let companies throw great deals at us, which we would accept for the period of the contract, then ditch them for another company to get another cheap deal! Maybe Virgin would get on better if it took a leaf out of the insurance companies book ~ my insurances has started going down because they will not charge current customers more than new customers for the same product. If Virgin want loyalty they need to show customers that they matter.
