This is just my own opinion, and purely guesswork ---
I believe the V6 can handle the Disney+ app as it's the same hardware as the 360, however the firmware is different. The V6 is Tivo, whereas the 360 is Liberty Global's (VM's owner) in house Horizon software which is in use throughout Europe.
To me if VM don't get the Disney + app on the V6 it's because they have paid for the coding for the app to work on Horizon, and don't want to also pay for the coding for it to be compatable with the Tivo software since VM (LG) have ended their contract with Tivo.
