Sky Sports Blurry

I got VM installed yesterday; broadband, tv & phone. I am still getting very blurry sky sports channels like I did on the NOWTV app. Anyone know what the problem is? All other channels are completely fine, BT Sport, Eurosport etc. even Sky Documentaries, Nature, History and so on are great. Why just sky sports? Irony is that’s what I’m paying most for and it’s the worst picture. Really hope someone can explain this as I have a brand new box/router etc.

Re: Sky Sports Blurry

Might just be the normal standard definition picture, have your tried HD?

Re: Sky Sports Blurry

So, according to the channel guide, between 100 and 999… of the sky sports channels, only 509 ss news and 510 ss mix have an HD logo by them.
So I can watch the drone racing in glorious HD but not football!

**bleep**.

Re: Sky Sports Blurry

Sounds like the package you have bought doesn't come with sky sports in HD

Re: Sky Sports Blurry

Sky removed the HD dog from their sports channels a while ago.

Sky Sports HD channels reside between 501 & 510 in the guide. From 511 upward are the SD versions. 501 to 508 require a £7 supplement to be paid unless you subscribe to Ultimate Volt.

VM BB TV Landline. Vonage 2nd line. Freeview/Freesat HD, ASDA/Tesco PAYG Mobile. Customer since 1993

Re: Sky Sports Blurry

TV's often have a setting you can access that adjusts the TV set for viewing sport. Have a look on your TV it may just make things better. I think It adjusts how the television reads the images and meshes one frame with another because of the cameras or athletes moving around so much
