Re: Can the "feedback request" mechanism be fixed?

This AWFUL mechanism, still exists, unchanged. Is there no way to complain effectively about the design of forum software?

Re: Can the "feedback request" mechanism be fixed?

Assuming you are referring to the unstoppable feedback survey popup ...

It's a (very annoying) 'feature' of the Khoros platform. Same behaviour happens on the BT forum. It's been mentioned many times on here in the past but there has been no interest from the powers that be in changing the functionality of the survey popup.

Choose to 'Accept' cookies at the top of the forum page (not general VM cookies but those for the forum).

Once the irritating survey popup appears, click 'No' and the popup should not reappear for 90 days.

Re: Can the "feedback request" mechanism be fixed?

Thanks for the suggestion.
I have searched for some time and cannot find any option to accept cookies on any forum page. What am I missing?

Re: Can the "feedback request" mechanism be fixed?

Clear the cache/cookies on your browser (or just clear them for virginmedia.com). When you next visit the forum page, at the top under the black header bar you will see the option to 'Accept' cookies as below. Choose to 'Accept'.

Accept cookies

When the feedback popup next appears, click 'No' to the survey and it should then not reappear for 90 days.

Or get rid of it entirely by using ublock origin and/or umatrix in your browser then create as rule to block it with the element picker.
try ublock-origin first
