Keeping Volt when going Broad band only

I contacted VM today and told them i want to change from a TV/Phone/Broadband package to Broadband only! I was told that if i do, i would loose my Volt Benefit? I find this a bit odd. Has anyone else had the same experience.

I believe that the Volt packages are for all four services therefore switching to broadband only would not be compatible with Volt.

VM and O2 are in a 50:50 joint venture and the Volt package must include both VM's broadband and O2's mobile. To be honest if you want only broadband a Pay TV provider like VM doesn't give you good prices and you should ask what VM can do for a Volt broadband and O2 deal (I'm assuming you want a mobile service, my Volt package includes a 10GB SIM-only for which O2 charges me £10pm).
