I'm having difficulty finding my way round this forum. I post questions, but when I log in I don't know how to get to the post and any ansers. I'm sure there's an easy way to do and probably a faciity that tells my how, but I haven't found it. If some friendly person could advise me how to do it, that would be great,

You can find out how to navigate and use the forums by looking at the following page

Explaining some of the options on that page....

You can do any of the following.

Click on the profile picture next to your name at the top of the page. On the dropdown click on My Subscriptions.

This opens the Settings page, and on the right under the General heading click next to Automatically subscribe me to all topics or reviews I participate in.

Then scroll down and click on save Changes.

Or

Go to the top of the page and click on the drop down next to your name. Then click on Edit Profile.

When your profile page opens click on Preferences in the top navigation bar.

Then on the right hand side under Preference options  tick the box next to Automatically subscribe me to topics or reviews I participate in. Then click Save.

The system will then send you an email whenever there's a reply to any of your posts.

Or

If you want to see which posts you've already made click on the dropdown button to the right of the forum search field and select Usernames.

Then start typing in your username, and when it appears click on it. That will take you to a page that lists your posts.

very helpful. But they do make it horribly complicated - I think this is the least user-friendly forum in this respect that I have ever come across.

One problem with your advice : "If you want to see which posts you've already made click on the dropdown button to the right of the forum search field and select Usernames."

But I couldn't see any Dropdown-Menü button to the right of the forum search field.

The enclosed screenshot shows the drop down search fields.

It is much easier to just click on your forum user name and look at the list of latest posts by McGruff that is presented.
