ByHarassment. 15 years a customer.

Why does Virgin keep harassing me ?

"We like to give you very good offer" Sports and films at a cheaper rate.

If I wanted Skysports and movies, I would have added the package to my account.

Why don't you look after your older customers with some discounted rates on their already existing packages.

New customers get this, new customers get that. Loyal customers don't get anything in return.

Just a shame that no other services providers can offer fibre optic in my area.

Rant over.

Re: ByHarassment. 15 years a customer.

I take it that by harassment you mean some chap/chapess phoning you up to try and flog you VM stuff?  Just have a delve in your My Virgin Media Settings, and somewhere ("My account" ?) there's a setting for marketing preferences.  Turn it off, and after a few days the calls should stop.

As for loyalty, that counts for nothing.  You either accept that and pay VM's full-fat tariff, change your ISP, or you try and blag yourself a better deal.  Be aware that new VM and other large ISP contracts and changes are all 18 month fixed terms now.

You can change your marketing preferences via this link:

https://my.virginmedia.com/my-profile/my-preferences

Be aware it can take several weeks before the changes fully kick in as marketing campaigns are set up well in advance of them going live.
