TiVo says i don't have enough disk space even though it's only on 58% full
I tried to record something this morning on the TiVo in the bedroom and when I did my TiVo said that it wouldn't record other things as there wasn't enough disk space (although it's only 58% full). I get that it may feel like it's going to be full in a couple of weeks time if nothing gets deleted but it makes no sense that it won't record something today (says that other things will be cancelled/clipped for later today if I go ahead and record the program) when I might have deleted things by next week.
Why doesn't it wait until it's at about 90% before you start getting warnings?
As a side note, and this makes me wonder if it's something to do with settings, maybe? Although, I think everything is set-up identically. On my TiVo in the living room, it's also 58% full but I don't get the same message?
Thanks in advance
The part of the message "some shows may be marked as KUID" is the clue here.
Altering the SL settings will amend future planned recordings, except for manual & one-off recordings which would need to be individually altered.
You'll need to trawl your "My shows" list and check/mend each recording in there. Once you've done that, you may need to give your V6 a precautionary reboot.
