We just wanted to let you know tomorrow (Thursday 16th January 25) we’re planning a major upgrade to our community platform, so you’ll likely notice a different look and feel when you come back. We’ll be moving from the Khoros Classic platform over to the Khoros Aurora platform.
The community will go down around 10am, and we envisage it coming back at some point in the afternoon or evening.

Some musings on the new design.
Firstly well done to all involved. These things are hard work and I know there were some late nights for some last night.
Good things: Overall refresh, stronger back end tools (I hope the business Intel from these will begin to be picked up by HQ), pinned posts are gone (although it would be nice if the more advanced networking guides where still made available somehow (maybe via Help?), nudging visitors to navigate/research a bit before starting brand new threads, no obvious spam so far.
Not warming to: “Show More”. AI bots are back. Did I mention “Show More”?
Missing: Edit function and auto signatures (although I understand that these are both anti spam precautions), tagging being available for all posts ( not just the original one), Search results won't expand beyond 5 in mobile display (but will in desktop display), PM display is crowded out by the needless footer links in mobile display and is only really usable in desktop display, should the “Stream” board now read “Flex”? Being able to readily access legacy forum hyperlinks (for example the many examples of booster safety issue posts I shared with ISPreview at https://www.ispreview.co.uk/index.php/2024/09/safety-concerns-raised-over-virgin-media-uks-legacy-wifi-boosters.html)
Can you post a URL either as https... in the text
or by using the "Insert/Edit Link" ?
I tried earlier and both methods were rejected with the same error.

Both methods failed with this error ...
I get the same error with hyperlinks either with copy/paste direct into the message or by using the insert hyperlink button.
My two pence worth ... Overall, I'd say the new look forum is a good improvement on the previous version and easier/better to use. I seem to be having some issues though with 'following' topics and with notifications.
In the past version, there was an option to automatically subscribe to the topic/get email notifications when making a reply to a topic. When I have replied to a topic, it looks as if an attempt is made to do this (the bell icon changes from a bell+ icon to bell with tick icon). It appears as if I have been automatically subscribed but when I move to another page and return to the original topic, the icon has returned to a bell+ once again. The topic does not ever automatically appear in the list of followed topics unless I manually tick the bell+ icon to follow.
I haven't received any email notifications of topic updates since the changeover even for topics I am subscribed to.
When I log into the forum, the bell icon in the top RHS of the screen does not show the number of new notifications waiting since I last logged in (although when I click on the bell to view the notifications list, the list does appear to be up to date).
The 'Edit' function is sorely missed. Could this be implemented on a permissions-based approach (maybe granted to users after reaching a certain forum 'rank' with a history of posting)?
Don't seem able to paste in hyperlinks as before, get error message about the HTML being invalid. I need to experiment more with that.
The sticky posts are not missed by me TBH. Many of the previous sticky posts were written a long time ago. If they are reinstated, they could do with a refresh and update IMO to make sure they are up to date and relevant. The way the 'Pinned Discussion' is currently showing on the 'Email' forum as just a single line from the title is a much better use of screen space. The previous way of showing the introductory text from each sticky post, meant scrolling through lots of screen space at the top of each forum each and every visit which was a bit cumbersome.
The 'Security Matters' forum link seems to have gone from the top menu row (though I guess this could be by design if it is not being carried forward in the long term).
Well done to all those concerned with the switchover and having it up and running again 24 hours later!
1) First attempt to "Sign in" repeated fails,
press F5 to refresh and Sign in then works OK ( using Firefox ).
The initial Sign in screen appears to be at a different URL as the Firefox password manager does not provide a username. A manually entered username still fails to login.
After an F5 refresh the Firefox password manager, does supply the credentials & Sign in works.
2) "Keep me signed in" this option appears to have a short expiry period, making the initial Sign in issue all the more noticeable.

If only they did what they do to this Community forum to the hub as in just modem mode things will be great!
The two "Stay safe online" Forums have been migrated to the new platform,
but they are not accessible from the menu bar.
Still no DARK MODE in settings?
Also, I seem to have to sign in every few hours which is annoying. The older system had a longer life on the token.
Please address for format of the Inbox ( message ) function.

but there is no menu route to : Category: Volt | Virgin Media Community
I'm currently mid contract with Virgin Media Broadband and been offered and upgrade for just a £4 increase however my current pack has a 50% offer on it and I'm afraid if I'm except this new pack I'll be stuck in another 18-month contract without the discount continuing.
