Hey guys,
I've got the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 2020 and the TV Go App is a nightmare. It's Juddery, It Stutters and it Freezes. I've tried the usual uninstalling and reinstalling, changing Battery Modes, Different Wifi and it's still the same.
This tablet is very new and can handle all my other Streaming Apps (Netflix, Sky Sports, Plex, Prime, YouTube) Perfectly fine. Including running large 4K H.265 HEVC files over Plex.
This issue has already been reported multiple times. Add into my 3 family members who all have this same issue too.
It's seems like it's Isolated to the Galaxy Tab A7 2020 running Android 10. This tablet is only a few months old and is more than capable of using this app. Would really appreciate if it could be looked into.

Hi SkyBlues90,
Thanks for using the forums to get this issue with your services looked into, I am sorry if this has been causing some frustration. I would be more than happy to look into this for you.
Are you having any connectivity issues with any other devices on your home network?
Have you also tried the app on another device to see if this issue persists?
Thanks,
Megan_L

As I stated in the other thread, it works just fine on my Samsung Galaxy Tab A7. I've just watched 20 mins of Star Trek II on Sky movies without an issue.
If it's relevent, I do *not* have MacAfee enabled ( because reasons) and I'm using modem mode with an Asus router.
The A7 is running R9WNA0PZB5J firmware, but it was also fine on the previous firmware.
Edit: It is odd it is working on this tab while it's not for others, be interested to see if it's hub related somehow...

So I've just removed McAfee through ADB.
com.samsung.android.sm.devicesecurity
The problem is still there. It's more noticeable on Live Sports. Not sure if you have BT Sport but during a live event could you possibly record 30 seconds or so and upload it somewhere so I can view the how your A7 streams?

Is com.samsung.android.lool a default app? Because it does not appear to be present on my A7. At least I can't find it with the tools I've tried.
Interesting, as they say 🤔

Interesting. Macafee was not enabled by default on mine, it asked me during setup if I wanted it and I said no.

Sorry for multiple replies, ran out of time to edit.
I did check some live sport (was a challenge finding any at moment) and yes, it did not appear as "smooth" as other channels though the studio shots were fine. Honestly I don't know if was the source material or not though, because it looked much the same on the TV...it looked like it was dropping the occasional frame when panning and zooming. Is that what you are seeing? I don't have an easy way to record it at moment, without pointing a phone at it.
Now, as for that file ,I know that it must be on my device, because it's part of the firmware, but it doesn't show up in adb for me so I cannot check it and I'm not rooting it just to satisfy my curiosity 😎😇
Let's just assume I've managed to somehow do something weird with the setup of this tablet and that the app is still broken for everyone else 🤔🤐

com.samsung.android.lool is a default app. It's the Care App that has the battery performance modes etc. Hence why I think we were initially taking a performance hit. Especially on Live streams. Download this App https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ubqsoft.sec01&hl=en_GB&gl=US
And search for it to confirm you have it. You should 100% have it.
Here is a update on the issue I had prior

On streamable make sure you watch it in 720p on the Toggle or the quality looks worse lol. i can assure you it's much better though!
