Re: BBC iPlayer to stop working soon For a community member to suggest that staff may "get bored" is completely unnecessary and highlights the negative and dismissive attitude that seems to now be the approach of the majority on this forum. It is hoped that staff would never get "bored" in trying to help and find solutions for a customer who has asked for help. Unfortunately this has been lacking here. It would be appreciated if a Forum Team Member would send a private message to show that Virgin Media are better than this and can help to put things right. A private message would not be asked for without good reason. Explanation has been given that this query concerns support ending for BBC iPlayer on Tivo. There are technical details involved in my query that only Virgin staff will be able to answer, so it would save time and be more secure if a private message was received to move forward in finding a solution. I am elderly and I would prefer to put details about my house in a private message with a Virgin Media staff member. All I am trying to do is get help as a Virgin Media customer, not very much to ask for really, and it would be nice to have some... Something else I'd like to know on this is that my Tivo box currently has access to Sky Arts catch up, is this also available on the 360 box? There's no mention of Sky Arts on this webpage: https://www.virginmedia.com/the-edit/tv/your-virgin-tv-apps. It would be good to get this answered too, any ideas? The nature of the query was made clear from the start, it concerns support ending for BBC iPlayer and the email sent to me from Virgin Media regarding this. I'm sorry pm71 that I do not know the answer to your question, I should think that if you have a Tivo box that after Wednesday 23 July the iPlayer will no longer load if you press the red button. This forum used to be a useful place for customers suffering from hearing difficulties to receive help with issues. This forum also used to be a positive and helpful space where Team Members were happy to provide support. Disappointing to find that this is no longer the case, and that Virgin Media find it acceptable to ignore their customer.
