Sorry to piggy back on this but my 93 year old dad has had the same and is receiving letters from o2 demanding payment. I checked here and see whats happened.

However, like OP he has no mobile phone but i found an old sim unopened. But i can't register him with o2 to pay the bill as he has no mobile phone to register with.

As you can imagine at his age this sort of thing causes stress especially when he had no idea anything was changing.

Anyone else had similar? If so how did you pay o2?
