promised unlimted data, but got 250gb, confusion weather new contract means new box

negotiated going back to an 18 month ultimate volt package yesterday via online chat.

the agent agreed to " unlimted data" but the 02 contract sent says 250gb /month

also mention was made of new equipment arriving so does this mean that the current box with all it's programs will be lost with a new box install? or will i still be able to use the old box?

there is the 14 day cooling off period of course and I do have screenshots of the agent's promises.

Hard to say, a new contract doesn't automatically mean a new box, but VM are pushing the 360 box at the moment as they will eventually want all customers using it as the software is developed in-house by Liberty Global rather than licensed from TiVo.

If you currently have a V6 box then you may just get a new remote and a software change to the 360 (which still deletes all programs and series links) if you are lucky the new hardware may be a new hub for internet and you will get to keep your superior V6 box.

It will be doubled to unlimited after 14 days (it can be quicker), but on new contracts they wait till the 14days have passed

thanks . turns out they just sent a new hub to facilitate the maximum speed. Pleased the V6 is being kept and no 360 box.
