Volt upgrade

Just upgraded my Volt bundle package which includes a mobile O2 sim. The agent was aware of my existing package.

I was told that i could swap my existing number to the new 02 SIM using the PAC code. 

Received the contracts which were as agreed.

New SIM has arrived. I phoned the number given by virgin which is O2 support.

I was told that as my old number was already transferred to O2 that they cannot swap this to the new SIM and 

that since the PAC code is an O2 one it is invalid.

I now have two O2 accounts and have been charged on both accounts. Since I cannot keep my old mobile number I

have to keep the old O2 number account which is more expensive. Just feel I have been scammed. Do agents not know this. What a rubbish offer which has wasted a lot of my time.

Sorry to see there's been a dispute with the package you've just taken out, I'm not sure why the team wouldn't have linked your existing number instead of creating a new one 🤔
