Yesterday I phoned and I am being moved to a Volt package for a new contract. This includes an O2 SIM for my wife's phone. My daughter and I are on Virgin Mobile phone contracts. Our Virgin to Virgin (mobile or landlines) calls were not charged will that be the same Virgin Mobile to and from O2? If not can we transfer our Virgin Mobile contracts to O2?
Thank you
Martyn

Thank you Dibberly, that is reassuring and as we will still be on a Virgin Media Landline with the Talk anytime package and our daughter still has a Virgin Mobile SIM then she and my wife can still call each other and have their long daily phone conversations without either breaking the bank 🙂
All the best,
Martyn

when i say mobile to mobile.....i meant o2 to any other of the main mobile networks. Your best checking your virgin mobile contract to see if you can still call other mobiles free to be on the safe side

Hey @martynco, thanks for reaching out to us.
May I ask what was the SIM offer? Was it unlimited calls and texts included?
Let us know and we'll able to confirm 🙂
Kind regards.

Hello Ilyas,
Thank you for getting back to me. I understand that the replacement O2 SIM will be unlimited minutes, text and data. My daughter only has her Virgin Mobile phone, no landline so we were particularly concerned she will not be hit phoning my wife on her proposed to be O2 mobile or our Virgin landline. Previously these were not charged. As we still have a Virgin landline and our daughter is still on Virgin Mobile that should not change so it is just the O2 - Virgin mobile and Virgin mobile - O2 calls that concerned us. They talk so much this really could be a deal breaker for us but we still have over a week in the cooling off period to sort out if this really is something to worry about.
Thank you for your help
