I signed up for the VOLT free upgrades back on the 3rd of October. My O2 mobile had the double data upgrade within a few days but I have yet to hear anything from VM regarding my broadband upgrade. I believe it should have happened with 14 days. Can anyone shed any light on my issue please.

Hi @Izza1967,
Thanks for clarifying this. We can definitely look into what has happened and see what we can do about boosting your speed. I'm going to send you a private message so I can get some details from you.
Please look out for it in the top-right, in the purple envelope.
Cheers,

I know it's only been 5 hours but I was hoping for an answer especially as I see a Moderator has seen my post and edited the topic title 😞

Can anyone from VM please help me?

I have tried ringing but the wait times are terrible and I am usually at work so can't be hanging on that long.
How long does it normally take to get a helpful reply on here, am I just being too impatient?

Some notes for you and others:
1. You won't get a speed upgrade VM side if you already had an O2 SIM and then took out a VOLT VM package as the price is already for that package. If the existing SIM didn't already benefit from data doubling then within 14 days it would.
2. If you are new customer and take a VOLT labelled package which has an O2 SIM in it, the BB speed is already the speed you will get. It won't double again. It's as stated as the package has been 'VOLTED' already.
3. If you get a retentions deal, ensure you ask if the price is for a VOLT package (because you may already have an existing O2 SIM for example) or Non VOLT price. If Non-Volt, you can still expect your speed to double again, although the VM agent normally realises this and does it anyway without having to wait. So, in theory if you upgraded from a non VOLT package to a non-VOLT package say from M100 to M200, then if you added an O2 SIM in the future or already had one, it would go up in speed under VOLT despite being a retentions deal. What happens in reality most of the time, is the VM agent realises if you already have an O2 SIM active and just quotes a VOLT package price which means the speed is what they tell you in the new price.

I am and have been an O2 and VM customer for a while but only recently found out about the Volt free upgrades so I applied on the O2 website. The O2 sim has been upgraded with the double data offer so I assume I also qualify for the VM upgrade to the next available BB speed, I am currently on 350mb and up to 1000mb is available in my area, so again, I assume that I would be upgraded to the 500mb package.

Yep, your scenario sounds like a speed upgrade the VM end. Hopefully VM will pick this up, but they can take 3 days from date of original post.

5 days ago I started this thread but still no reply other than a Mod changing the title on the first day but still no help from a VM staff member.
Can someone from VM at least acknowledge that my issue has been seen please
