Virgin connect not working so can’t get wifi pods

I have Volt, and am therefore eligible for the free Wifi Pods which I desperately need for the other half of my flat!! However, to get these, I need Virgin Connect to tell me that my wifi is bad - and Virgin Connect app is not connecting to my wifi! It’s been one month since I’ve tried to get this set up (first to get Volt to connect my O2 and Virgin Media, and then to try the Connect app to get the pods). This is really frustrating and disappointing! How can I get the wifi pods without the virgin Connect app?

Update: I have finally been able to get the Virgin connect app to work by resetting the hub (without turning it on/off). My wifi speed was less than 20 Mb, and they put the option of getting wifi pods. However, I am being charged for these despite having Volt.

Are you sure that the charge isn't the £5 delivery fee?

Hi, thanks for replying! It's not a delivery charge because they are saying they are going to be charging me an extra 8gbp per month
