Speed Increase(?)

zarathustra
Dialled in

Hello All,

As a Virgin Media customer & now O2 (migrated from V. Mobile) I recently received the email from O2 that I'd been awarded the Volt bonuses, but my Internet speed has not increased (I'm currently on m500 - *not* a Volt-tagged package(!)

I've power-cycled my hub & intermittently test my speed at speedtest.net but it remains as it was.

Does anyone know if there's a waiting time for the speed increase to be applied &, if so, how long it takes? I'm smacking my lips at finally having gigabit throughout my home.

Many thanks for all your time & patience.

Hey zarathustra,

Welcome back to the community and thanks for taking the time to post here on the forums.
When did you receive the email about your Volt benefits? As it can take up to 14 days for the benefits to be added to your Virgin Media account.

Kind Regards,

Steven_L

Hi Steven_L,

It hasn't quite been 14 days yet. Hopefully it's still in the works then - I'll get back to you if it hasn't been updated after the 14 days have expired.

Many thanks for your swift, helpful reply. =]
