Sky Entertainment UHD Missing from Volt

Can Anybody help I recently decided to stay with Virgin after my contract came to an end. I upgraded my package from Oomph! to Volt. Silly me for thinking Volt was a better package just come to watch a movie in UHD only to find my new upgraded Volt package doesn't have Sky Entertainment/UHD. Is there a reason for this I thought Volt was the better package.

Hi @Shaker282

Sorry to say but since the  1st November, Sky Cinema and Sky Entertainment UHD are no longer included as standard in the Ultimate Volt package.

It is now only available as a £6 per month add on for new customers, or those regrading/recontracting.**

If you've renegotiated within the last 14 days then you can use the 14 day cooling off period to cancel the regrade and revert back to the old package and pricing, and then re-negotiatee and ask for the add on to be included free as part of the new contract.

The info below is from the TV sub section towards the very bottom of the page on https://www.virginmedia.com/tv shows

** Sky UHD: Sky Cinema and Sky Entertainment UHD requires a V6 or Virgin TV 360 box and a 4K compatible TV/device with HDCP 2.2. Up to 4x the clarity of standard HD content: based on comparison of HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) versus UHD (3840 x 2160 pixels).

£6 a month for customers with Maxit TV packages (Fullhouse/ Bigger Bundle/ Ultimate Oomph/ Ultimate Volt). 30 days’ notice required to remove Sky Cinema and Sky Entertainment UHD pick. Prices may increase at any time during the contract.

Thank you for the response. I spoke to somebody yesterday they told Me I could add Sky Entertainment/UHD Cimema for an extra £10.00 a month. I politely declined the offer….🤣🤣

I think £10 is for Sky Cinema and Sky Sports UHD.

If it's just Sky Cinema/Entertainment UHD you're after, it should be £6 as advised by @newapollo
