Another Volt upgrade issue

hello

first post..

 

so my contract changed yesterday, I now have Volt M500 broadband. I also have an O 2 sim.  Both show on the status page as have volt activated and my O 2 data allowance has doubled. 

but the broadband is still at M500: should it not double to Gig 1?

have read on these forums thst leaving these type of issues here does get the attention of the virgin team , so here goes ….

It can't go to 1Gig unless you have a hub 4, do you have a Hub4?

Did the contract change due to you buying a sim?

Yes I have a hub 4

O2 contract direct from O2 six months ago

Yes Gig 1 is available in my area as other people in my street have it. Think the issue is with the new contract, happy to share details if you can PM me please
