tv package upgrade

Just wondered how long it takes for your upgraded channels to appear as we where offered an upgrade due to us being unhappy with our service. Having been a LOYAL customer for many years but we do not yet have access to our new sports channels

Did you add these channels by phone, or online?

If online, it can take 24-48 hours as a C/S agent has to make the changes manually. If by phone, it should be almost immediate.

Hi marg74,

Have you tried rebooting the set top box?

Also using your remote control check for missing channels

 Help & Settings > Help > Virgin T> go up to the top of the screen then TV Care and press OK >  Missing Channels.? > Refresh my channels list

Is it also possible that they've only added the SD versions of the sports channels?

newapollo's suggestion of using the TV Care menus to follow "I'm missing some channels" is excellent, but as asked... what specific channels do you think you're missing?

Remember with Sky Sports, unless you pay the HD supplement, you need to be checking the SD channels in slots 511-519, not the HD ones in 501-509
